A striking crested (cristate) form of the Mexican Fence Post cactus — a rare mutation that causes the growth point to fan out into a wavy, undulating crest rather than growing as a standard column. This specimen displays a well-developed fan crest alongside a normal columnar growth point, showcasing the dramatic contrast between crested and typical form. Deep green with classic areole markings running along the ribs.
Highlights
- True crested (cristate) mutation — rare and highly collectible
- Fan-shaped, undulating crest growth
- Deep green coloration with well-defined ribs
- Includes a normal columnar offset for comparison/contrast
