Shipping Policy – Pacific Coast Succulents
How We Ship All plants are shipped bare root — carefully removed from their pots, roots cleaned, and wrapped securely for safe transit. This method reduces package weight and minimizes root damage during shipping. Plants are not shipped in soil.
Processing Time Orders are processed on a weekly basis. All shipments go out on Mondays only. Orders placed after Sunday will ship the following Monday. You will receive a tracking number once your order ships.
Why Mondays? We ship on Mondays to ensure your plants arrive mid-week, avoiding weekend delays at carrier facilities and reducing time in transit. This helps your plants reach you as fresh and stress-free as possible.
Transit & Weather We do not monitor weather conditions along shipping routes. If you are concerned about extreme heat or cold in your area, please contact us before your ship date (Monday) and we can hold your order to the following week.
What to Expect on Arrival Bare-root plants may show minor stress after transit — slight leaf wrinkling or temporary discoloration is normal and not a sign of damage. Plants typically recover within 1–2 weeks after repotting in well-draining soil.
Damaged or Lost Packages If your package arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and plant immediately and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will work with you on a resolution. We are not responsible for packages lost or delayed by the carrier once shipped.
Shipping Rates Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on order weight and destination.
