It forms tightly packed clumps of small, spiky, ridged heads that give it a dense, sculptural, sea-urchin-like appearance. As the plant matures, it produces increasing numbers of offsets, filling out the pot into a lush, textural cluster. A great low-maintenance choice for collectors who love unusual, architectural succulents.
